AEROMAX 5.1-XL™ 10-Channel Television Audio Processor -
Combining air-proven dynamics processing
with stereo-to-5.1 surround sound upmixing, AEROMAX 5.1-XL features
optional 5.1-channel Dolby® Digital (AC-3) encoding. Metadata is
accepted and can be used alone or in combination with dynamic range
processing. Built-in AutoMAX™ fixes the problem of two-channel audio
mistakenly signaled as 5.1. Digital inputs for 5.1-channel network and
two-channel local audio, plus dedicated analog and digital EAS inputs,
full-time LtRt or LoRo output, stereo monitor output, and front-panel
headphone connector.
AEROMAX-DTV™ Six-Channel Television Audio Processor-
A fully integrated, entry-level unit for controlling loudness
and ensuring stable audio imaging for 5.1-channel broadcasts,
AEROMAX-DTV is based on the successful OCTiMAX 5.1 and combines
air-proven dynamics processing to control program loudness with
Hollywood-approved stereo-to-5.1 surround sound upmixing.
AEROMAX-TV™ Stereo Audio Processor-
A dynamics unit for two-channel main plus SAP audio, or four
mono channels of audio, AEROMAX-TV™ features CrowdControl™ Dialog
Protection Processing to eliminate the "missing announcer" problem for
stereo viewers prior to transmission without impacting sound quality for
surround listeners.
Model LA-5448 High Density AC-3 Frame Synchronizer/Rate Shaper-
Processes up to four AC-3 programs to re-synchronize to local AES reference, remove errors, and
rate shape the outputs to a fixed data rate. Includes silent frame
continuous output capability.
Model LA-5180 MetaMAX™ Series Metadata Framesync/Generator-
Accepts external metadata via RS-485 serial or HD-SDI VANC, allows
correction of incoming errors, re-writing of all parameters and
reversion to fully adjustable internally generated values output via
serial and HD-SDI. Can also be used as a stand-alone generator. Future
available upgrades include web interface, DVB-ASI and compressed audio
processing.
LAMBDA™ Professional
Digital Audio and Metadata Monitor -
Linear Acoustic Monitor for Broadcast Digital Audio enables monitoring of
digital audio and metadata bitstreams through the entire broadcast
chain. Accepts both baseband and HD-SDI audio plus metadata, with
Ethernet remote monitoring; optional Dolby® Digital (AC-3), Dolby® E and
Linear Acoustic e2 (e-squared™) decoding.
StreamStacker-HD™ Multi-Program
High Density Distribution System-
Offering continuously variable efficiency adjustment to match each section of the
delivery chain, StreamStacker-HD enables up to 16 channels of audio plus
metadata to be carried via a single bit-accurate 20-bit/48 kHz AES pair.
Comprises the following pair of complementary units:
Model LA-5173 StreamStacker-HD™ Encoder
- Sixteen input, 1-RU encoder including AES and SDI (HD/SD) inputs and
outputs, plus VANC and RS-485 metadata input. Future upgrades will
include metadata monitoring, DVB-ASI support, and Livewire audio over
IP.
Model LA-5174 StreamStacker-HD™ Decoder
- Sixteen output, 1-RU decoder including AES and SDI (HD/SD) inputs and
outputs and compensating video delay, plus VANC and RS-485 metadata
outputs. Future upgrades will include DVB-ASI support, and Livewire
audio over IP.
StreamStacker™AC-3 Distribution System-
Enables multiple AC-3-format signals plus metadata to be carried via a
single bit-accurate 16 to 20-bit/48 kHz AES pair. Comprises the
following pair of complementary units:
Model LA-5421 StreamStacker™ Audio Bitstream Multiplexer
- Multiplexes up to four AC-3 streams into a
single “Stacked” stream carried via one AES pair. Provides frame
synchronization for each AC-3 input.
Model LA-5124 StreamStacker™ Audio Bitstream De-Mux/Splicer
- De-multiplexes up to four “Stacked” AC-3
streams and allows for seamless AC-3 splicing. Dual redundant
auto-ranging power supplies and hard bypass for mission critical
applications. Serial and GPI/O controlled.
