LQ-1000 Loudness Quality Monitor
The LQ-1000™ Loudness Quality Monitor provides comprehensive ITU-R BS.1770 loudness and peak level metering of up to eight channels of 5.1-surround and/or stereo AES or SDI audio. HD/SD-SDI I/O is standard.
Created following extensive field experience with mixers and broadcasters during post-production and high-profile live events, the LQ-1000 allows the monitoring of all critical loudness parameters on its large color OLED display making it the ideal choice for studio mixing or plant-wide monitoring to ensure improved consistency and minimal operational errors.
Current loudness, target loudness, and peak levels are clearly indicated by large, easy-to-read numbers. Loudness and peak values are also indicated on a familiar bar-graph display, while a histogram shows loudness over time. A VGA output is provided to send the full display to an external monitor.
AES outputs are provided for sending de-embedded audio to an external audio monitor. GPI functionality enables remote control of functions assigned to the four front-panel buttons and allows for tally output alarms.
