LA-5180 MetaMAX Metadata Synchronizer, Generator, and Analyzer
The LA-5180 MetaMAX™ Metadata Synchronizer, Generator, and Analyzer ensures the continuity the metadata needed for proper audio encoding.
Useful in digital television transmission, remote production, and DVD creation environments, this flexible unit accepts metadata via a standard RS-485 serial input or as delivered by an HD-SDI stream, corrects incoming errors, then allows re-writing of selected parameters and reversion to full adjustable internally-generated values which can be sent out through an RS-485 serial output or as HD-SDI.
An LTC timecode input is included for logging as well as an AES input for Dolby E analysis. GPO status outputs can be used for external alarms or metadata relay bypass. Dual redundant power supplies are standard.
The LA-5180 MetaMAX can also be used as a stand-along generator.
AMAS Metadata Analysis Software to provide a detailed display and analysis of critical metadata parameters and other user-definable parameters and limits is optional.
