AERO.air Transmission Audio Loudness Manager

Inconsistent DTV audio loudness - the so-called “loud commercial problem” - is the number one complaint of television viewers and it is driving them away. AERO.air® is the solution.
Two versions of the AERO.air processor are available - AERO.air (DTV) and AERO.air (5.1).
AERO.air (DTV) is an entry-level digital audio processor that offers 5.1-channel loudness control. It features the renowned Linear Acoustic UPMAX® algorithm, plus downmixing via the AutoMAX-II™ auto-dectection algorithm which smoothly and automatically bypasses upmixing when applied content is already 5.1. Loudness control can be achieved automatically, by metadata, or by GPI. SDI I/O and CrowdControl™ Dialogue Protection are standard, as are dual redundant power supplies.
AERO.air (5.1) offers all of the features of the The AERO.air (DTV), but adds a 10-channel AES main digital I/O for 5.1+2+2 use or 2+2+2+2 and EAS, auto-sensing HD/SD-SDI I/O for up to 16 channels, plus SMPTE 2020 A/B metadata support.
Options include:
Dolby Digital (AC-3) and Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3) encoding
Dolby E, Dolby Digital (AC-3) and Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3) decoding
Compensating video delay to keep PCM and coded audio in time with video
Nielsen Watermark encoding, with dual encoder for 5.1+2 support
Secondary Nielsen Watermark encoding for additional +2 channels (Aero.air 5.1)
