Hal Buttermore has more than 30 years of broadcast engineering experience.  Buttermore has held positions of director of engineering for Cap Cities/ABC/Disney, Detroit, and market engineering manager at CBS, where he successfully headed the conversion of six stations to HD transmission.

Buttermore is currently traveling the Midwestern states as part of the Hear Factor Tour, helping broadcasters understand the need for loudness metering and control in television audio. He also participated in the 2008-2009 Linear Acoustic “DTV Audio Myth Busters Tour,” educating broadcasters how to make the 2009 digital transition easy, effective, and cost efficient.
